Two independent streams cascade from Aquascape spillway bowls, flowing over Oxford boulder and native planting before disappearing into a shared underground reservoir. The dual-stream design creates a continuous sound of moving water from multiple points in the garden. Integrated lighting and an automatic dosing system mean the feature runs itself — beautifully — day and night.
Darfield Ecosystem Pond with Goldfish & Underwater Lighting

A 3m x 5m ecosystem pond set into a Darfield garden, built with naturally mossy Oxford field boulder that looks like it has always been there. At 600mm deep the pond gives goldfish the depth they need to thrive through Canterbury winters. Filtration runs through an Aquascape 400 skimmer and BioFalls 1000, with driftwood sourced from a nearby forest adding natural character to the edges. A wide-angle underwater light illuminates the deep section at night — when the goldfish become the feature.

A compact pondless waterfall designed for a smaller Darfield garden, proving you don't need a large section to add the sound and movement of flowing water. A 3-metre stream runs over Oxford boulder and driftwood sourced from a nearby forest, disappearing into a hidden underground reservoir tucked beneath the existing deck. Integrated lighting and automatic dosing keep it low-maintenance and beautiful after dark — a great example of what's possible in a tighter space.
