Shipping

We ship all products nationwide across New Zealand.

Dispatch and delivery

Orders are usually booked with the courier the same day or the next business day. Delivery usually takes 1 to 5 business days depending on your location. Rural delivery may take longer.

Standard delivery rates

Standard delivery is calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery address:

  • Metro addresses: $9.00 for orders up to 1.5kg, $12.00 for heavier orders

  • Rural South Island: $14.00 for orders up to 1.5kg, $15.00 for heavier orders

  • Rural North Island: $16.00 for orders up to 1.5kg, $19.00 for heavier orders

Customers in rural areas should choose the matching rural option at checkout.

Dangerous goods

Aquascape Professional Black Waterfall Foam, DIY Pond & Waterfall Foam Sealant and Professional Foam Gun Cleaner ship as dangerous goods via a specialist courier. If your order includes any of these, the dangerous goods charge applies to the whole order in place of standard delivery. The charge is calculated at checkout based on your address and the number of items:

  • North Island: $25.00 per order plus $8.00 per item

  • South Island: $18.00 per order plus $1.00 per item

EPDM pond liner and geotextile underlay

Freight for liner and underlay is calculated per order based on size and delivery location. Use the enquiry form on the product page to request your cut size, and we will confirm the freight cost on your invoice before dispatch.

Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.

Eligible for return: products must be unused, in original packaging and in resaleable condition.

Not eligible for return:

  • Aquascape Professional Black Waterfall Foam, DIY Pond & Waterfall Foam Sealant and Professional Foam Gun Cleaner. These are classified as dangerous goods and cannot be returned once dispatched due to courier restrictions.

  • EPDM pond liner and geotextile underlay. These are cut to your specified size and cannot be returned.

  • Any product that has been opened or used.

How to return: email us at info@southern-waterscapes.co.nz with your order details and the reason for return. We will confirm the return address and process.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.

Faulty or incorrect items: if you receive a faulty or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

Consumer Guarantees Act

Your purchase is covered by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under that Act.
